Ukraine will considerably boost grain yield thanks to modern technologies – Prime Minister

Ukraine intends to considerably boost the grain yield at the expense of introducing up-to-date technologies in the agroindustrial complex.
Prime Minister Mykola Azarov is reported by UKRINFORM as saying about this at the Ukrainian-Norwegian business forum in Oslo.

“Last year, we gathered the largest yield in the history of Ukraine – 57 million tons of grain crops. We expect that following introduction of new technologies in the agroindustrial complex we will gather considerably larger yields,” the Head of government said.

He stressed that Ukraine has the most fertile soils in Europe, as well as potential to increase vegetable and fruit growing.
