In January-June of 2012, the general production of agricultural commodities in Ukraine increased by 7.4% compared to the same period of 2011, including agricultural enterprises – up 11.8%, and households of the population – up 4.4%, declared the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.

Agrarian enterprises increased the general volumes of sold agricultural products of own actual production by 43% compared to the same period of 2011, including plant growing products – up 95%.

In the reporting period, the average selling prices of Ukrainian agricultural products of agrarian enterprises increased by 7% compared to the same period of 2011, including plant growing products – down 14%.

In June 2012, the index of average selling prices of agricultural products grew by 6% compared to May 2012, including plant growing products – up 8%.
