Ministry of Agriculture and the Export-Import Bank of China on June 28 in Beijing signed a memorandum of priority projects to invest in agriculture of Ukraine in the amount of $ 3 billion

´The signing of a memorandum allocating $ 3 billion for the development of the agricultural sector of our country is a natural intermediate solution in the framework of cooperation agreements between the leaders of our countries. It is also the result of collaboration between the National Bank, in particular, is a logical consequence of the signing (last Tuesday in Beijing) of the swap´, the press office quoted the Minister Mykola Prysyazhnyuk.

The Ministry believes that the Chinese investments will increase the volume of trade of agricultural products and foodstuffs, as well as increase productivity, improve financial opportunities for farmers of the country and, accordingly, modernize the technical re-equipment.

The head of the National Bank of Ukraine Serhiy Arbuzov, who attended the signing of the memorandum, said the deal is unique both in amount and the terms of its provision.
