Agro Holding Sintal Agriculture to get rid of half of its land

Sintal Agriculture, one of Ukraine’s major agro holdings, intends to restructure its land bank. The company said the agro holding is planning to sell or resign 85 Th ha of land in Kherson region in the coming three months. In the opinion of the management, this will allow to annual savings of about USD 7.4 Ml on lease payments.

Sintal Agriculture is planning to replace part of land parcels in Kherson region with more productive ones.

In Zhytomyr region, the company is going to acquire 16 Th ha of land by 2015 – these parcels are already assigned to the company, and the process of signing agreements has started. The company also hopes that the land bank restructuring will raise its crop yields.
